Each construction experience is unique to the individuals needs, but typically this is the process. We first meet to go over your needs, desires and budget for the project.
After we have determined the project needs, Bailey Enterprise Group will send you a detailed list of the proposal for the project and the work to be performed. After you review this and we have revised to make sure that we in agreement, we will send you a written proposal of work to be done with the budget and time frame for the work to be completed within. Upon full agreement of this, we enter into a written contract which will fully spell out all undetermined items and a budget or allowance for such.
You will receive a checklist of information/ allowances that you need to determine and a time frame for completion and return to us to avoid any delays on the project such as:
- Colors of the Interior and Exterior project
- Floor covering selections
- Windows/Doors selections
- Light Fixtures, etc
Each individual has different needs and most of our property owners are not available daily, so typically I send daily or twice weekly photos of our progress. It is inevitable that changes will occur, so we typically do change orders only with e mail confirmation and an agreed upon price for the changes. This avoids any problems later and again sets us apart from our competition and aids you with a written record of any changes from the original plan.
We keep you informed of our Building Inspections as they occur.
Some of our customers like a “ Personal Website with their daily log of information”. This is a plus that we can provide upon request.
Once the project has been completed, we do a walk through with the customer and complete any “ punch list “ items.
